Robert Lottmann lives in Limburg which is in the Southern part of Netherlands. I am a maried Father of two Kids, Glenn and Kaylee. At young age I was already interested with Country Music. I got my first guitar when I was about four years old. At young age I mostly listened to music of John Denver, Don Williams and Merle Haggard. At one day my father asked me if I wanted to sing on a real stage. I approved, and there I stood. On the big stage, on the local carnival festival in our village, dressed up as a cowboy with about 200 people right in front of me. My first live performance with the legendary John Denver song, Country Roads……
When I was sixteen we started a band with a couple friends called “Penthouse the next generation”. We played older songs from CCR, Billy Ray Cyrus and the Eagles….We actually only did two gigs, but we had a lot of fun jamming in the garage.
After that I was in the army for almost 6 years. During that time I didn’t have much time to spend on playing music. I had my guitars and amps on the Armybase where I taught some buddies play the guitar.
Country was born
At the time that our son was born, I quitted the military to be closer to home and spend more time with my family. At that time I started experimenting with modern Country Music by recording a bunch of demo’s to see what I could do best with my voice. And thats how I set up a repertoire of songs that I can proudly present to ya’ll. Because playing Country music will always be something special in my life….
